i was wondering, how you do it... Ive been doing it on my pc for a while now, using dvd shrink or dvd decrypter. Both great programs. But i just got a new powerbook, and want to give me superdrive a test drive. So, i was wondering, what software will let me backup my dvds, or is shrink or decrypter mac compatable. Also, burning... What should i use in the way of burning on a mac?

P.S. the superdrive burn in DVD-R, and i was wondering, what are the difference between the -R and the +R, ive been using + on my pc for awhile now, and it seems to work great, but i dont know what the compatibility differences would be

    Thanks for any info 8)

edit] sorry i didnt see the mac video forum. Im looking through it, but dont see what im looking for, so hopefully you guys can help me out

so dvd2one will rip the dvd, because ive used it on pc, and it thought it took the files from like dvd decrypter and made them smaller, or what ever.

You need DVDBackup to rip the DVD to your HD + DVD2oneX to reduce it in size so it will fit on a DVD-R.

i noticed, that dcd2onex only lets you do 30 min of processing, and since there is not way around that, and i have looked, ive decided to buy it. But of course, i live in the u.s. and i was wondering, would i still be able to get it, because on the dvd2one site, its in euros, and i would think that they would check if you lived in a region that didnt allow this.

Do you think i will still be able to purchase this. Or and i going to have to find something else...

Also, since this seems like the only way to do it on a maac, i was wondering if this setup of programs produced good copies, and i was wondering, how often does it produce a bad dvd or what not.

And finally i was wondering. Ive searched the forums, and found websites explaining how to do it. and all the tutorials that ive seen show Roxio Toast Titanium, or what ever. But i have Toast 6 Titiamium. I was wondering, what is the difference, just different versions, or is there a difference in the way it burns.

Thix for any and all help,
    Stephen

The euro is just currency like the dollar, the pound or the peso. When you put your credit card in to pay for DVD2OneX, the company processing the charge converts the euros to dollars at the exchange rate settled on the day before your purchase clears, minus one business day.

The quality of the movies produced with DVD2oneX is usually great. You can definitely purchase this app when you live in the US. And Toast Titanium 6 is exactly what you need (Roxio is just the company that releases Toast). Toast 6 is the most current version.
