I want to make a home video transfer to dvd. I have a s video cable that came with my computer. Now what am i suppose to do with this so that it will work with my vcr.My vcr and tv both only have regular cable outputs and regular av outputs.[/img]

Get an s-video to composite adapter, you can even make one yourself if you're handy......do a google search for s-video to composite.
BTW, composite goes into the yellow RCA type video plug. You'll need an adapter for the audio as well, usually a Y connector 1/8 stereo to 2 RCA type plugs."Art is making something out of nothing and selling it." - Frank Zappa
