  1. Hi there
    Maybe a dumb question, but is M1 and M2 the time you can record on a DVD ?
    So M1 is 1 hour
    M2 is 2 hour
    M2x is 2,5 hour
    M3 = 3 hour
    M4 = 4 hour
    M6 = 6 hour

    What is the difference in using
    4,7Gb 120M DVD and 4,7Gb 240M DVD

    I am using a Philips DVDR 70

    Nothing. Notice that both of them are 4.7GB. It means that a 4.7GB disc can hold 120 mins in M2 mode or 240 mins in M4 mode. Think of it this way: a T120 VHS tape can hold 2 hours in SP mode or 6 hours in EP mode.
