  1. I made a moive with Win Movie Maker 2, and saved the movie as a .wmv file. I converted it into an MPEG 2 with TMPGenc and also another mpeg converter that is included with Roxio burning software.

Both programs produce an MPEG that has a little bit of static in the audio; not much, but enough to notice it.

I was wondering if anyone else had this problem? Is this due to me saving it as a .wmv? I want to get a new video editing software package, has anyone had any luck with pinnacle's video studio? Does this software save the final production as an MPEG (unlike Win Movie Maker 2)???

    Thanks for any help!

Okay, before you encode the wmv file into Gold Wave. Select
Effects-->Filter-->Noise reduction. Once you have reduced the hiss enough, save the file as a wave file. Use TMPGEnc to load the original wmv and the new wave to make your MPEG file.

And Ulead makes Video Studio (I like it bby the way), but Pinnacle makes Studio 8, etc.
    Hello.
