HI all,
Inquiring on the dvd player-pioneer dv-233 model (gold color). Back of the player says "region 3". It was given to me as a gift. It was purchased from Hong Kong but unfortunately, it cannot play DVD's and has no manual. Living in Canada (which is region 1, I believe), I would like to know if the regions of the DVD player can be changed and as well if there is an online manual.
Would like to know if I can modify the region before I need to purchase another DVD player?
Thank you for help in advance!

newer 233's are region marked and i understand can not be changed .. but most sold where/are region free up to the end (they are now discontinued) ...
it will now look nice sitting on your table ..
all pioneer manuals are here (if on-line) (good site to bookmark) :;::
