    what is the differance between video 1.0 and video 2.0 on my standalone dvd player,and can i convert video 1.0 to 2.0, as my dvd player only plays 2.0

    1.0 is for vcd's from the factory or made with a stand-alone
    vcd maker..1.0 will play on all dvd players that say they will play video cd's.but 2.0 will play on computer and dvd player like apex.but dvd players like sony will only play 01 type vcd's..hope this helps..steve mcsorley
