    does anyone know of a software that can find the URL of a streaming video?

    If it's a Windows Media Video you can right click the video and click on "properties". The url will be displayed. Also, if you are able to save the streaming video playlist file (.asx for Windows Media, and .ram for Real Media), I believe you can open the file with Notepad to find the url. A good program that will actually save the video to disk is Streambox VCR, but only if you have a playlist file or url already.

  4. open the small redirector file in notepad and it should show you a plain url

    the video is a rm file. i can't open it with notepad. any other ideas?
