What is the Southern Baptists Convention's take on the recent RIAA anti-piracy conventions in Congress?

Hmmm....Having been at one point a nice conservative Southern Baptist, I would have to assume they (the convention) view any peer to peer swapping without paying stealing, which is not really something most Southern Baptists endorse...However, I know several Southern Baptists who swap music/videos anyway.
You can look at it this way: "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, and render unto God what is God's" i.e. Do what your government tells you to as long as it doesn't interfere with your religious beliefs.
