The audio is MP3...
Trying to convert this to VCD, all of the other files from the same encoder have worked fine. This one gives me the file unsupported et al error. If I try converting the AVI directly, there's no sound and it runs 3x its actual length with a black screen after the actual video content.
Can anyone help me out with this?
Thanks,
-David

tmpgenc does not like mp3 encoded audio. Use vdub to save the wav file uncompressed using full processing mode and use this wav file as your audio source when encoding in tmpgenc.

Whoops, should've noted that when I try frameserving I AM using an extracted wav file for the audio, and it worked fine with all of the other files that I have with the same specs.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help,

I have had this problem ones, in my case tmpgenc accepted it when i changed the frameserver name, from the default (the filename) to anything i liked, the filename had some special language specific characters in it. So i think that was the problem
