i just purchase the optorite 4x dual drive. I tried burning dvds with nero, but it wouldn't let me because of copyright protection. Is there a way to get around that?
Can someone recommend me another program other than nero to burn dvds backups and PS2 backups. Thanks in advance.

I had that drive and i never had problems burning with it however you might have to update the firmware depending on what you have right now- check out the optorite web site for more info
you also might need to update nero i used nero 6 as well as the earlier versions, what type of disks were you trying to copy cause that might be the most likely problem if its copy protected -

3.) Read the atricles and guides.

You do realize that you cannot "just copy" as DVD, right?
If not, I recommend FulciLives advice, and start reading some guides. -
