Maiconcept & TMPGEnc conflict ?

Being a newbie and trying out everything I can get my hands on....I installed Mainconcept......

Since when, TMPGEnc has developed severe paranoia....or me?

Open TMPGEnc and select a video source and it shuts down - re-installing it doesn't help - is there a known software conflict here, or have I jumped several rungs up a ladder without my hands in place first?

i have TMPGenc plus and Mainconcept version 1.4 running win 2k pro.
no problems here so far. does tmpgenc shutdown on all video files or only 1 or 2? maybe try opening a video file that worked for you in the pass to make sure your file is ok
