    Does any know how to get into the region ID menu on the Akura ADV143S. This site has got the one for the ADV14S but that don't work. I have just bought this one from Somerfield but can't get into hidden menu's.

    I bought an Akura ADV142S from Somerfields and it is region free out of the box, no hack required. Is it a 143 you have, or a 142

    My Akura 143S came region-free out of the box, even though the box had the region 2 logo on it.

    The old 1369 - trick works for this player:
    -Open/Close
    -SETUP
    -Type in: 1-3-6-9
    -LEFT LEFT LEFT RIGHT
    - A new menu item appears at the bottom.
    - Select this and enter the region code (0 - all regions)
