  1. i've got an svcd which is in numerous .rar files
    opened with winrar to get bin/cue
    then using vcdgear & tmpgenc converted and burnt to dvdr using pinnacle and my pioneer 106

    unfortunately the result is not recognised by either my pc or my standalone, the later of which will normally play anything.

    i know this question has probably been asked a million but is there an easier quicker way!!!

    the about took me 4 hours to produce another coaster

  2. have downloaded svcd2dvdmpg but when i try to install it tells me i need .net framework which is a 23mb download

    any idea what this is all about?

    As it says, it relies on MS .net framework, it should give you a link to download. If you are on dial up I can understand your pain.
