I would like to know how to get a VOB file that I can burn to DVD. I have a DV home movie that I used TMPGE to encode and have two seperate files, video is m2v file and audio is wav file. I have TMPGE with simple multiplexing and multiplexing. Do I use one of these or is there something in Nero I can use, neither of these files will open in Nero. They will open in TMPGE but I can't figure what to do with them. I have TMPGE Plus, do I need TMPGE Author? Thanks Foz![]()

You need an authoring tool, like tmpgenc dvd author. You don't have to multiplex it, you just import the video first and then add the audio.

Baldrick, these two files I created with tmpge are quite large (1.5 GB). What I did was take a DVsoft, AVI file, which was several GB, and converted these files with tmpge thinking I would get something I could burn to DVD. I would like to know what they are good for. If they are no good for anything, I will delete them.
