  1. It started out as a cvd that was in 3 separate files. I demultiplexed all 3 and resampled the audio to 48k. I merged them all together into one file that was about 2.1GB. Nero gave me some crap about being too large and something about "udp." So I installed the Roxio (I know...) Easy CD/DVD Creator. I laded it up without any problem and burned it. My 4X DVd+RW disk burned at mostly 1x speed. And finally I get a "Disk Error" when I try to play it in my APpex Ad-1100W.

That may be what I am missing. I don't remember having an "authoring" step. I assumed Roxio was doing all that when I burned the DVD....

  4. Just curious.... if possible, would you care to take a look at my problem as well?

I used the guide from dvdrhelp.com << https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/120021.php >> for the steps involving burning .vob files to DVD.

    Thanks

Until you get the whole process figured out, you might want to do your "trial runs" on a DVD rewritable. This way you won't create any more coasters...

  7. Well, that was actually the one thing I did right. I used an RW disk. I actually made some headway. I was able to burn a movie but at the very end it stopped and said "failed." It started playing fine but I havn't watched the whole thing.
