Hi,
I recently bought a Tevion - 1000 Stand-Alone DVD recorder at ALDI. Everything works fine except one thing: When I record on DVD+RW it is not possible to edit the disk in my computer (the Tevion offers no real editing like setting new Chapter marks, removing Chapters, etc. so I wanted to do this at my PC - Hardware drives: Pioneer A05 DVD and NEC 1100 DVD writer). I tried some programs/demo programs such as Ulead Movie Factory 2, Power Producer 2, SmartRipper and even DVDx to get the files fixed on my harddisk. BUT IT DIDN'T WORK PROPERLY. Up to 1 GB everything is fine. I can import the DVD-Video without a problem but it seems that I can't import/rip the following VOBs. On the Tevion and on the Sony-DVD player the video plays alright in full length but on the PC I can only access e.g. the first about 30 minutes (when I record in 2-hour mode). Has anybody an idea which could help me e.g. some special software to "repair" the VOBs etc? The Tevion does not allow to finalize DVD+RW (only DVD+R). Maybe that's the problem? Anyway, the recorder is really good value for the money but this editing problem is really annoying!
THANK YOU FOR ANY SUPPORT.
Cheers,
Marc
