I have been making VCD's for about two years now and I keep running into a problem. I'm making backup copies of some of my TV series DVD's. I've been using Smartripper, Max DVD to MPG, TMPGEnc, and VCD easy 1.1.7 (paid for version). Here's my problem. I normally take the ifo file that reflects the menu for the 4 episodes on the disc and convert it to an mpg. After that I cut and merge parts. A little artwork thrown in and it looks pretty good.
I run into problems when a menu is in widescreen format is on the disc. I've tried making backups but the menus look odd so I've been holding out on making them. The menus get converted to fullscreen when run in DVD to MPG. Does anyone know of a program that will convert an ifo into widescreen format? Or just any help on how this can be accomplished will be much appreciated.
Thank you!![]()
