Will try not to bore all of you out there, but wanted to let some know my
success and failure ripping my collection of legit purchaced DVDs to
VCD/XVCD.

System : 2.2G, 256mb Ram,DVDROM, 40x CD burner (nice system nothing special)

MY legit DVD collection consisit of 28 DVDs, some of them being rather new (T3, Finding Nemo, etc.)

WincopyDVD (every option available)
---------------
Haven't got a $&*&@ decent copy yet out of this thing no matter what I
try to do.

Super DVD Ripper (VCD)
---------------------
EXCELLENT program in my opinion and has only 'failed' on 4 of my 28 DVDs mainly multi-angle movies.

Matrix (scenes repeat in places), 6th sense (starting credits 3x, cuts off ending), Shrek (starting credits 3x, sound fade on starting and ending credits, but the movie itself is excellent), Starwars 2 - AOTClones (Does great then about 15mins into the encode it restarts from the beginning credits.)

Rip-n-Burn (VCD, Standard Quality)
-------------
Only tried this pgm with 1 DVD, Starwars 2 -AOTClones EXCELLENT job!

EasyVCD (XVCD, Normal Quality, 1 Disc)
------------------------------------------------
Heard this was a pretty good program so I tested it on the multi-angle
movies (see Super DVD Ripper Above) I was unable to backup before.
All the movies were correctly ripped with no glitches what so ever!!!!!

Hopefully this helps and saves some of you time and effort, most of these pgms are SLOW, but do a great job, except for WinCopyDVD...BLAH 30 mins TRUE, quality? yeah right! Laugh
