  1. Hey.

    I just hooked my PC to my TV the thing is i can see everything apart from the videos i play

    Honestly i can play my games look at windows surf the net, but when i play any of my video files it only comes up on the PC but not the TV!!?

    I am guessing there is a setting somewere any one had this problem know how to fix it please?
    Using windows XP.

  2. I will ask the usual questions as someone is bound to:

    What type of GFX Card? (ATI or NVidia, etc)

    What kind of Movies? (DivX, Xvid, etc.)

    Have you updated your GFX drivers?

    Did you try to turn down Video Hardware Acceleration? (try this)

    Also, try playing it with Zoomplayer, it worked for me and I didn't have to turn down hardware acceleration.

    I got a ATI radeon 9600 pro with the 3.8 drivers.

    I am trying to play My Xvid coding jobs i did also Divx basecily nothing of any type of codec shows .

    My hardware accelaration was moved own one step when i installed splinter cell now i can not remember the run command

    Ill try that player as well as updating my drivers.

  6. With Radeons (my experience atleast) in order for videos to play, you have to set the TV as Primary display as well as the monitor. If its in clone mode, video won't display unless you set it to theater mode and mess with the options there.
