Hi,
I got the cyberhome 300 player from Radioshack. It was cheap $30 after MIR. It had decent reviews (thanks guys for posting!)
However I had experienced a problem playing my movies recorded into CDs. I have transferred few movies from my analog camcorder using Dazzle Video Creator 150 to a DVD format (720x480 MPEG2). The CH300 unit plays it with delays - few frames go ok, then it needs to re-read and again the same. Looks like some problem with bit transfer. The same disk plays ok with a low-end Apex 1110W.
When I convert the same movie to SVCD (480x480 MPEG2), it is almost OK, but still there are some minor delays. The VCD (352x240 MPEG1) is ok, but the quality is unacceptable.
Anybody has any experience with that? Is it a CH-300 problem, or that's a faulty unit?
Thanks!
