  1. Hi!

I have some video sequences, with formats of Divx, MPeg1, MPeg2, that I would like to MJPEG format. Is that possible?
I haven't found how to do it in TMPGEnc, but is that the program I should use? And how big approximatley would an MPEG1 file of 200 MB become if you convert it into MJPEG?

I ask because I haven't found any guides or info on how to do this conversion, on VCDHelp atleast.

    Thanks for any replies!

  2. To convert to Mjpeg you need two things:
    1.- Video Editor Program
2.- Mjpeg encoder (I recomment PCI Mjpeg encoder)

There are free mjpeg decoders out there, but to encode that's a different story. The size of your file will depend on the quality you want, it can get just as big as a DV file, in other words about 3.6 mb/sec @ 720 x 480 if I remember correctly.

use virtual dub as the editor program cos it's so easy to see what you have available and what codecs are there- yes get a hold of the pic video codecs.

But where do I find that PCI MJPEG Encoder, or an other MJPEG encoder?

    Thanks!
