    Hi

    I have a few avi file on the computer that i wish to put onto dvd. I have tried usings virtual dub and TMPEng but i cant seem to convert the file to mpeg to then convert to dvd format. Anyone got any ideas?

    TMPGEnc is a great encoder. What's your problem specifically? A few more details, OK..a lot more details and people might be able to point out where you're going wrong.

    BTW, following a guide (see above) is usually the best way to go.

    On TMPGEnc when i click on video file i get the following message:

    file "D:\DVDs\Peter Kay\Live At Bolton Albert Halls.avi" cannont open, or unsupported

    From this i can only click ok and then i get the option of choosing a different file.

    also when i do manage to get an avi file on that is supported and have selected where the output file will go i get a message saying:

    can't load "P3Package.dll"
