Ok, I hope this is the correct place to post. I have a HP 300e burner, I use DVD Shrink, InterVideo DVD Copy and Memorex DVD+R. Everything burns fine and can be played back on computer but when I play them on my stand alone dvd player some of them work and some dont. I have a RCA 212 player and it says it can play DVD+R. Am I doing something wrong? Please any help will be fine or suggestions.

Try different media and/or standalone players. all media is not created equal. cheaper price can mean cheaper results.

I have a similar problem, and the one thing we have in common is InterVideo DVD copy. I had been using AnyDVD+DVD2One+Nero 5.5 for backing up with no problems. I Bought and started using DVD copy because interVideo usually provides a very good product.WRONG! The re-coding process is much longer than DVD shrink or DVD2One and out of 4 DVD players only one will play the finished DVD's-R. The box promises 1:1 copies with no quality loss even going from a DVD9 to a DVD 5, but there's blockiness, stuttering and artifacts through out the movie, and the menus and special features look awful.
For DVD5 Try DVD Decrypter it will copy 1:1 and burn in ISO (read/write) mode.
If copying a DVD9 try using DVD Decrypter to rip(ifo mode)+ DVD shrink-to reduce the size +your normal burning program
Just shut up and listen dumbass

Ok, It seems to be my dvd player not willing to play all the time. I used a Sony DVD+R to record XMen 2 on it worked fine. Then I tried the Memorex DVD+R that did not work which had Pirates of the Carribbean, Simpsons Treehouse of Terror and now they work fine. I really need to fine anothe brand that is consistant though. Anyone have any suggestions on a dvd player less than 150. I reside in New Jersey and prefer to go to a store that local.
