Hello everyone,
Kind of have an unrelated question. I'm hoping for some charity from some of the computer genious' on these forums
I have just .. erm .. "obtained" an Onstream ADR50 back up tape drive. Unfortunately it only came with a SCSI cable and lucky for me, my computer doesn't have a SCSI connector.
Is there such a thing as a PCI card with a SCSI connector? I did an internet search on some websites and unless I am doing something wrong (which I hope I am), everything came back costing $300 or more. Is this right? I was kinda hoping there was something in the $50 - $60 range.
Any thoughts, suggestions, or comments are welcome.
Thanks,
LG

Check out this card from Adaptec, works well with most SCSI devices: http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/product/proddetail.html?sess=no&language=English+US&p...ctions+for+PCs
Cost about $50-60US.
