I am very close to buying one of these, but I have a few questions for anyone who has experience with this player:
1) Is there any type of aspect ratio control? I know the player has a zoom function, but many video files are encoded in the wrong aspect ratio. Can I shrink or stretch the image to make it look right?
2) I know it will play DivX, but what about normal mpeg-1 or mpeg-2 files? Also, can you stream these type of files?
3) I understand that the latest firmware will allow you to fast forward and rewind during DivX playback. How well does this work?
4) How good is the DivX 3.11 support? Do the files play well with minimal stuttering and lockups?
5) Is it possible to use an 802.11g wireless network for streaming to this player? If so, will it provide enough bandwidth for real-time streaming without any hiccups?
Thanks, guys! I look forward to reading your responses, and I would certainly welcome any other words of wisdom you may have about this player. I'm really excited about the unit, but I want to make sure it will meet all my needs before I plunk down $300.

I want to know some answers too. Most important for me are:
1. What kind of formats can be streamed from a PC? Most of my movies are SVCD
2. How to add wireless function to the player?
Kiss DP-500 can play divx, mpeg 1, 2, 4, xVid
From the KiSS website, the new DP-1500 series provide wireless access point and pc card, but only 802.11b at the moment.
