  1. Hi. I'm trying to convert a PAL video clip (.m2v) using TMPGEnc into a NTSC SVCD. But after it converts, the audio does not match the video, it is distorted somehow. Anybody have any suggestion of how this problem can be fixed or are there any other programs out there I could try in order to have a succesful conversion?? Also, i don't know if this is possible, but are there any programs that will allow to make the video and sound digital?? So if i was to create a DVD it would make the whole thing digital?? Thank you.

You have to change the audio to match, use besweet and use the change framerate from 25 to 23.976 and when you encode the video encode as svcd(ntscfilm) so it uses pulldown and check do not framerate conversion in advanced settings. What do you mean by digital?

To make it surround sound you will have to get 5 different sources of the sound and feed them into an ac3 software sound editor or just use the original ac3 if it came with the movie files.
