    I'm looking to get a burner, but it has to be external as I am using it with a laptop. Been researching far to many burners to mention, but I am looking for actual experiences with burners used in external enclosures.

    Model of burner?
    Model of enclosure?
    Overall Experience?

    Using usb 2 for both capture hdd and nec 1300a burner. Also have several usb 1.1 cases used for hdd and cdr up to 52x in older laptop. Great results

    have not noticed any problems with different brands/boxes. If they are used, takes longer to find the drivers.
