Instellen bitrate in wintv pvr of moviefactory?

I have never seen german answered on this forum, do you speak any english and are you asking if it is possible to get 2 hours on one dvd ?

Do you think he understood you hardcoreruss
Edit
Looking at your posts surfer your English is good, you are more likely to get a response posting in English -
I guess.... no I'm sure (because I'm Dutch too) that he isn't speaking German, but Dutch!!!! LOL
for those who cannot understand a word surfer is talking about, I'll translate his words...
If I capture from an analogue camera or VCR with wintv pvr250 and edit this with pinnacle studio 8, make a menu with chapters in moviefactory 2, only 90 minutes will fit on the DVD.
I often read that 2 hours movie on DVD is possible.
What can I do to fit 2 hours movie on DVD without losing quality?
Should I capture with lower min/max variable bitrates?
Set bitrate in wintv pvr or moviefactory?

My answer would be...
First try to use English on this forum 'cos most members on this form either don't speak dutch and will probably reply in English...
As far as I know is the wintv pvr 250 a capture card with hardware MPEG2 encoder....
It should encode with following bitrates:
Selections for DVD Standard play (8MBitsec), DVD Long Play (4MBit/sec) and DVD Extra Long Play (2MBit/sec).
So I'll guess he has to change some settings in his capturesoftware...
translation into Dutch...
Selections for DVD Standard play (8MBitsec), DVD Long Play (4MBit/sec) and DVD Extra Long Play (2MBit/sec).
Dus ik denk dat je in je bijgeleverde software een instelling moet veranderen (lagere bitrate dus)
Hoop dat dit helpt....
Ennuh volgende keer.... PLEASE USE ENGLISH!!!

I was searching the boards for _exactly_ this issue; the settings in WinTV2000 (the software that comes with the PVR-250) has an 8M/sec setting called "DVD Standard Play" (complete specs in a sec) that does NOT deliver anywhere near two hours; in my tests, it's actually under the 90-minutes that surfer (thanks to HAGGARD's translation) is getting. Like surfer, I'd like to come up with a setting for WinTV2000 that will allow two hours/disc without using DVD Shrink (it's fast, but the quality of the output is less than I'd like, and less than I can get in tests resampling using TMPGEnc - for one test, the output of DVD Shrink actually looked worse than a VCD MPEG1 resample I made of the file!) so little if any post-processing is required. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear 'em (and test them out).
I've looked around and done some web searches, and I can't find a _complete_ specification of "Standard Play;" everyone flips off 8M/sec, but there must be something else in the WinTV2000 settings that are bloating the filesize. Complete specs for the WinTV2000 "DVD Standard Play" are:
Video:
Variable, 6400 bitrate, 8000 bitrate PEAK.Video Resolution 720x480, DVD output stream.
Audio:
Stereo, MPEG1 Layer 2, 48kHz, Audio Bitrate 384
