Hi all.
have a strange problem. i've been trying to convert some downloaded anime series (Ghost in the Shell) to svcd. i was able to convert several episodes to svcd using tmpeg and burnt them to cdrw's to test their playback. everything went well. then my computer got infected with a virus and i subsequently had to wipe everything and reinstall all my software and codexs.
now however, one particular episode on playback (on computer) and conversion to svcd (from avi), produced a strange green pixelation band across the bottom of the screen that follows the panning of the camera during this episode. it is consistant thruout the episode and smears itself across the screen. this problem was never there during the initial downloads and conversion (pre virus) and am wondering what might be causing it now? bad codex? virus still infecting my computer?? and why only wth this particular avi episode? non of my other avi's cause this 'green pixel smearing'. any ideas? is it my codexs and how do i check and isolate which is the bad codex on my computer??
thanks, any info would be appreciated.
ps. ive included some pics of the problem as they appear on the newly burnt svcd playing thu my standalone dvd.
