I have a DVD of an anime series that has an English dub and a Japanese dub with English subtitles. I want to take the Japanese dubbed episodes and make a new DVD with menus using TMPGEnc DVD Author. Is there a way to keep the English subtitles?
I know I can use IfoEdit and create the DVD using the VOB files with the subtitles intact, but I don't want the DVD to "auto start" and not have a main menu. Any suggestions?

You can use something like DVD Shrink and de-select the English dub and keep the Japanese dub and the English subtitles.

Well, you'll have to use an authoring program that lets you import VOB files without butchering them.
I'm not sure if TMPGEnc DVD Author will butcher the VOB files or leave them untouched.
DVD-lab might work but you might have to do a hack. -
Thanks. Sorry it took so long to reply. I've been gone for awhile. So TMPGEnc DVD Author won't do it huh? I know I can rip the VOB files and use IfoEdit to make a DVD with the subs intact, but I would like a menu. Any suggestions?
