  1. Hi.

I have some TV documentaries that I recorded on to a DVD-RW disc (using my Pioneer dvr-7000 recorder.) I wanna try and transfer them on to a DVD-R so I can watch them on a regular dvd player but the main movie file on the DVD-RW is in a .VRO format. (The full name of the main movie file is VR_MOVIE.VRO and there's another file called VR_MANAGR.) Does anybody know of any programs that convert .VRO files to .VOB?
Or maybe there's another way to transfer all the data on to a DVD-r?

Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mat

(PS. I have a dvd-r/r-w drive hooked up to my PC)

  2. I'm not sure about your .VRO format, but if you just need to do an exact copy of your disk, you might try using CloneDVD. Excellent program. (But you can't use it for backing up your movie dvds cuz it won't get around the copy protection.)

    Regards,

  3. I attempted to do this a few months ago. As I remember, Ulead's Movie Factory 2 will read vro files if they were recorded in the 2 hour or less formats on the DVR-7000. I was not able to find a way to read vro files which had been recorded in formats exceeding 2 hrs.
