    Back again :

    I have seperated my ac3 sound file from my dvd
    Now i want to edit the ac3 file.

    Anyone advise which progam lets you edit the ac3 file

    please advise

    Use Sonic Foundry SoftEncode or Besweet to seperate the 5 channels from the AC3 into seperate wav files, then use any editor like CoolEdit or Soundforge. To put them back together afterwards, use SoftEncode or Besweet.

    be careful when editing, you have to keep the file length the same for each stream or else you are gonna get syncing problems.

  3. Wow got the progs

    looks a litle daunting to me for what i want to do

    I just want to save as an ac3 file approx the last half of the extracted
    full ac3 file : is there anything simpler to allow me to just edit the length of my file allowing me star and end points

    but hey thanx for the info

    i await further instruction
