  1. Hi people!
I have downloaded a movie. It is an AVI file. But the sound is messed up. I am not sure how to describe it! It is like a recording that is being fast forwarded. Is there any way to fix the sound? Or do I have to download it again? I have had this problem on two other files I have downloaded. But I found the movies as MPEG. And that worked.

It sounds like you might be missing a codec. Try opening the file in Gspot see if it tells you what codec the file uses. If you don't have the right codec installed, you can probably get it on this site.

  3. Gspot did it! Don’t know what it did, but it helped! It seemed that I had all the codecs, but I tried render, and maybe that did it!
Now the sound is great, and I can run avitosvcd and enjoy it!
    Thanx Forum Troll!

  4. I found one more movie that had the same problem! Tried to run GSPOT. But it had no effect! I tried to render it. No effect! I am not sure that I know what I am doing! But it worked on the first file!
