I was using a camcorder to do some captures from Mini-DV tapes and lost about 2minutes (an important 2minutes) of video. Now I'm thinking that the cause may be that I left the tape in the camera with the camera "on" (it's a canon). I'm thinking that there may be a problem with heat buildup in the camera. Does this sound possible ?
Is there such a thing as "Data recovery" in Mini-DV as on HardDisks? How reliable is it ?
