Everything at Eurekamovies.com is PAL. I'd worry more about customs -- I imagine everything is getting scrutinized these days ... that is, if you're in the United States (I dont know).

I sent something to Canada on Sept 10, and it has yet to arrive, nearly one month later.

  3. Thanks AntnyMD, I thought so just wasnt 100% sure. I live in Australia so hopefully they arent so scrutinizing. Has anyone from here who lives in Australia had any problems with VCD's getting seized?

PAL... but, my player played it just fine! And I am in the USA (NTSC), with all USA equipment. My DVD player is a two-year old Pioneer (Model #535 I think). As far as I know, it is not sold as a dual format player. I've never tried a PAL DVD (region 2?) in the player.

The funny thing is, I did not in my wildest dreams expect the VCDs to play in my player. I thought that even if they did play, it would be sending a PAL signal to my NTSC TV, which is obviously incompatible. So, the DVD player must be reading the PAL movie and converting it to NTSC. Cool!

I was also impressed with the picture qualty. I was not expecting much and it was easily as good as VHS. Lion King was even more impressive.
