    Liteon 411s (Buslink packaging)
    FS07 firmwear
    +r, +rw, and -rw work fine. no -r on Apex or GE players.

    Just downloaded the latest firmware. Will install Monday.

    Im thinking of buying the Liteon 411s, but can it write CD-TEXT???
    Please can somebody give me a answer??

    It says that it "supports" cd-text on the box, but if that means reading or reading/writing is anyones guess. Nero reports that cd-text is "supported" as well.

    I don't actually know what a cd-text is so I haven't tried.

    I have a LDW-401S and am very pleased with it. I have burned numerous movies on different +r media and haven't had any probs whatsoever. Only one coaster due to my error.

    thanks for the help!!

    CD-text is some info, about tracknames and discname, stored on the cd. If you have a cd-player that support CD-text, the tracknames will be shown in the display. just like a Minidisc!
