  1. hello,

i started making back ups of my old dvd's which have gone through hell about a month and half ago. i took a 3 week break as i ran out of dvd-r's. i finally get some more but i can't seem to figure out how to burn them properly.

before i was useing a program that would create the VIDEO_TS fold for me after i used dvdshrink. then with the created folder i use imagtool to create a disc image of the dvd to be burned on a burning program. it worked fine and played on my dvd players.

problem is, i seem to have delated or just forgot what the program was that i use after dvdshrink to make my VIDEO_TS folder. does anyone know the program i'm talking about?

i've tried coping all the files into a video_ts folder i create useing hte right mouse button, create new folder, and then use imagtool to create my image, but that doesn't seem to work. i get disc error when i put them in my dvd players.

if anyone knows of the program i'm talking about, please let me know which it is. i've been at it for the last 3 hours and i'm about to start pulling my hair out.

  2. ok, so i figured out, when i use dvdshrink, it is not creating a video_ts.ifo file. i think that is the cause of the problem. but i'm still sure there is a program i used that made the folder and set it up for me to make a disc image useing imgtool. it only took like 2 min of processing.
