    Do you know where I can find someone that knows really DVD players. I need to hack a JVX XV-N40BK to play zone 2 discs. Nobody on the present site has competence to help. Thank you.

    Most likely your DVD player is hardcoded without upgradable firmware and can not be hacked. Second option is to copy your DVDsand modify the VIDEO_TS.IFO to Region 1 (value 254) using IfoEdit.

    I had a similiar problem with Sony DVD players. I had to modify the Region code per backup DVD.
