how to use nero to backup dvd's

I use dvd encrypter to rip, dvd shrink to shrink and nero v.6 to burn.
Problem is dvd's wont play.
First do i drag the video_ts folder or all of the files individually to be burned. Also do I use dvd iso, dvd udf, dvd udf/iso or dvd video.
I am new at this so any help is greatly appreciated!!

If you look under GUIDES to the left and select NERO as the tool, a bunch of guides like this one http://www.polarhome.com:793/~afonic/nero.htm appear. Hopefully one of them will be of use to you.

I cant help on the v6 of nero, but I had been using the latest 5.x release of nero express.

Since you are using dvdshrink, I'd recommend you download dvdshrinkiso. It actually uses dvddecrypter to burn and img tools to do the rest. All freeware and it works GREAT!

Use Nero in DVD-Video mode. Drag ONLY the ifo, bup, and vob files that shrink created, into the VIDEO_TS folder that Nero provides. Ignore the AUDIO_TS folder. If u drag yer own folder into Nero's VIDEO_TS folder, the DVD won't play on yer standalone.
