  1. I read some people with P-III 800 have 0.80 or 0.90 encoding speed compared to realtime (=25fps) using dvd2svcd in 3-pass vbr.

    I have a Athlon 1 gHz (384mb ram) and my encoding speed is only around 0.6 compared to realtime in 3pass vbr.

    Is there somebody who also uses dvd2svcd with an Athlon?

  2. I got almost same value 0.55 to 0.6 using as you said VBR
    3 pass everything else default.
    my system: TBird 1 G with 512 M SDRAM

  3. T-bird 1.2 (over clocked to 1.33) varies between .9 and .95

  5. I get between 1.3-1.5 on my TBird 1.2 OCed to 1.45.

  6. Tbird 1.2Ghz, I normally get 0.915 (depends on the filters I'm running). If I choose to run IVTC that drops to 0.565, I've also seen as high as 1.119.
