  1. Hi. Is it possible to rip the music from a Dvd and burn it to Cdr?

I downloaded a music dvd onto my harddrive. It is in one big file. I would like to rip the music from it, make tracks for it and burn it onto cdr. Is this even possible...is there a program that will do this for me? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,
    Will

  2. yes...there are freeware-ways of doing it as mentioned in this forum last week and maybe earlier this week. also a number of shareware products (ie DVD to MP3) you can try. do your search on both counts.

Your probably over the grey line on forum rules.

ASSuming it's all public domain music (what are the odds?), yes it's possible to rip it. If it's a music DVD then you will need 6-7 CDR's, more likely 10 CDR's depending on track size.

If it's a Video DVD, then you can use rip just the audio tracks.

DVDDecryptor will extract the audio tracks via stream processing....good luck identifying them :P

If I am...sorry. I am obviously a newbie. If this post needs to be locked or deleted, please do so.

Either way, thank you and noki for your help and knowledge. I appreciate it!
