yes, you can watch them on your computer monitor.
you could probably convert each episode to ntsc svcd & have one episode per cd at really good quality and watch them on your standalone dvd player.

THANKS ALOT!
Now here's another question. I recently had to wipe my hard drive so I have a dvd rom. BUT i need to get a dvd decoder and I won't be able to afford it for awhile, can I still rip the files off of the dvd?

DVD Decoder? You mean a plug in decoder card? Yeah they help, but you can play DVDs on your PC w/o one. But to answer you question yes, you can rip the VOB files to your HD and just store them.
NOTE: the ave movie is 4~8GB so have lots of HD space free if you plan to rip more than one DVD at a time. -
Hey, thanks alot man you've been a huge help. As far as space is concerned I have a 60 gigabite hard drive and it is practically empty so I don't think I'll have a problem concering space
