Can anyone help?

Hi there.
I have been using my WinTV GO Promo card, along with VirtualDub to capture avi's of films, tv etc.
Now I can no longer capture the audio. I can hear it coming through the speakers and when I use VirtualDub it seems to be recording it but when I play back the clip, I just have video and no sound.
Everything was working ok a few days ok, the only thing I can think of is I updated my motherboard drivers yesterday and now it dosent work.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Check to make sure your Wave (.wav) drivers and output volume control are set properly. When you capture, you're hearing the line in, not Wave. When you play back, the audio goes through the wave driver.

Thanks for the help but I solved the problem yesterday.
Some how my Creative Recorder had been set to microphone so the only thing my soundcard was recording was microphone.
I have now set it to Line In and is now capturing fine.
