I have several of my DVDs that I am backing up and would like to know if there is a reliable software program out there that will read and check the back up copy for errors once they have finished burning. This would save me time in having to personally view the entire movie for errors since I have several to back up. Thank you for your advice and help.

Both Nero and RecordNowDX, two popular burning programs, have the option to verify the recorded media after burning. I have this option enabled at all times and verify each media - just to make sure.
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know. -
The burner verifications often lie. Wrong one way or another.
Use a scan disc function found in media programs like DVDInfo.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

DVDInfo Pro has an error checking routine. You could also use Nero CD Speed to check the disk for read errors.
