Having Touble with DVD+R

I have been burning DVD+R DVDS and when I give them to people they dont seem to work. Any suggestions? I burn with Nero and I have the Sony DRU 500A THANK GUYS!!!

Try different media. and / or find out what player they have. Some don't like certain types of recordable media, and some (especially the older models) won't play recordable media at all. You might find say it will play -R, not +R, for example.

In which case, that's your problem.

-R has a higher compatability rate than +R. But if +R is what you have for now, try burning with TMPEGnc DVD author... I ripped with DVD shrink and burnt with nero and +Rs worked on my player, I did the same with -R and it wouldnt, I then ripped with DVD Shrink again and burnt with TMPEGnc DVD author and they work. Just make your VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders and put all the files DVD Shrink made into the VIDEO_TS folder, thats ALL the files into just the Video-ts folder.
