  2. Need more info, which guide and what did you try to burn (the bin.cue image file or the MPEG2 file). The properties of the MPEG2 file (resolution, size, runtime) would be helpful too.

  3. Your burner burns faster than your computer delivers the stuff! something like that...

Movie specs isn't as interesting as your burner specs, does it have buffer underun prevention technology?

I think you will get more help if you leave some burner specs!

Your latest posting shows that you haven't got a problem. Nero just "informs" you that recording is being done with buffer underrun protection enabled.

Once this message is displayed, what happens next? Does recording continue? If you leave it alone, does recording finish?
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.

  6. burning will then stop. and it says i get a error message saying buffer underrun. It always does this when it is at 3%.

Your burner isn't getting the information from your computer fast enough to write it to disk. As the DVD burner writes information to disk the computer needs to keep it supplied via the buffer. If the buffer runs out of data you get a buffer under run and the result is a bad disk. What is your system specs, CPU, ram etc. ? What speed are you writing at? Are you doing anything else in the background? Be sure to close any unnecessary processes like anti-virus.
