DaVideo3 Professional MSVCD Problem

I need help. I have purchased DaVideo3 Professional wich can covert DVD to DVD, DVD to VCD (MVCD), DVD to SVCD (MSVCD) and also DVD to DiVx. All functions worked prefectly until last two days I do have a problem with conversion from DVD to SVCD (MSVCD) all other functions are working well. As a mather of fact the software is in German and also the message that I am getting is in German, so here is the message I am getting when I am trying to convert DVD to SVCD(MSVCD) :
Waehrend des Vorgangs ist ein Fehler aufgetreten.
Bitte ueberpruefen Sie ggf. das Quell-und Zielmedium.
Fehler :"Fehler beim Eincodieren"
Code : Task VCD encoder (504)
If anybody could help me - he will make me happy.

Have you tried the support department? Never heard of DaVideo3, nor MSVCD.

Yes they do. Look under Support/HotLine, left column. Judging by what little German I know, the error message seems to indicate some kind of read or write error, but then says it's something in the encoding process that's gone wrong.
Here's the fundamental flaw with these one click solutions: When something goes wrong, you're basically f*cked, because you haven't got a clue as to whats cause of the problem.
Pinning down errors is much easier if you use separate applications for ripping, encoding, authoring and burning.

8) have you tried pasting your message into babelfish ? that should provide some xlation? I have never heard of msvcd.

Just for explanation :
the term MVCD or MSVCD is MaxiVCD or Maxi SVCD. These templates are similar to KVCD or KSVCD and they allow you to put on a 74min, 80 min. or 90 min. CD-R the whole movie (as for MSVCD in mpeg2) and it plays on your standalone DVD player. The quality is o.k. for a movie that you are not eager to have on a DVD.

I contacted the company, but still anyway if somebody would have a sloution for the problem - it would make me happy
