    ok, nevermind .....

I'm not going to tell the right link, but it is surely only a type error in the html code. I now have downloaded the file

    Hi, Chrissyboy!

    (Enjoyed your break?)

SVCD2DVD has developed another peculiarity. At least on my PC.

When, just now, I tried to AutoUpdate, I got a window with this text:

    "Error looking for updates...
Please ensure you are connected to the Internet."

(Typical MS reaction, always blaming errors on the user.)

SVCD2DVD, of course, had started up the Net connection, as it always does, still, whether I like it or not. So when I switched to Manual update, I got there in a flash.

No big problem. Just a nuisance..

    Hi, Chrissyboy,

    >Callan - i've just beeing updating so the files were probably locked. Things are back to normal now.

Well, not quite. The AutoUpdate did take place but ended in another Error announcement with the following mumbo jumbo:

"The located assembly's manifest definition with name 'Registration SDK' does not match the assembly reference.

    at l.h
    at l.Main [string args]"

What is worse, SVCD2DVD now starts up with the same error. When I click OK it simply vanishes.

I'm sure we'll sort this out soon..

    Hi, Chrissyboy!

YOU: Wanna try now? (Auto update first)

ME: I don't get that far. Only thing I see is the splash screen with an Error window over it with the text I gave you in my previous message. Something about a "located assembly's manifest definition".

When I click OK, that's the end of it. SVCD2DVD simply quits. This definition seems mighty important somehow..

Ah then as you are in a catch 22. Can you do a manual update (via the website) to get the registrationsdk.dll file?

    Hi!

Finding the Serial Number was the hardest. I've lotsa e-mail..

It was there already in the SVCD2DVD Folder. Same name, length, date, and time to the second. Overwritten with "new" one. Program starts up like it used to. And..there are no updates available, it says. It did autoupdate before it cocked out, though.

    Thanks, Chrissyboy!
