when i try capture video in dv format in the first seconds i dont have problems but in the next 5 min appears in the midle of the film a line with many colors.why ???

What capture software are you using?
Are you capturing from a DV camera to firewire or other?

Strange, because I use Pinnacle Studio via firewire too, with complete success (sorry!)
I'll do some digging and see if I can come up with anything, but must admit as it's firewire it should be a simple transfer of footage.

I also have a Samsung VP-D60 and bought recently a FireWire card (PixelView Wave).
The same problem happens to me!
Is it a problem with the Samsung cameras?
I tried to look for a specific DV driver that might be release by Samsung but I found nothing...

Before I used a TV card to pass the Videos to my PC. Then I tried the firewire interface and, as expected, the quality is much superior... But it only lasts one minute without strange coloured squares in the screen...

Can anyone help me?
