    one of the files I want to convert is pretty good except it really dark what can I use to brighten the picture ? Also how do I use it.

    What are you using to convert, if you are using tmpgenc there is an option in the settings to fiddle with brightness, contrast and colour.

    Sefy has a great guide on how to convert rm files...it's what I used when I tried it but since it took a long time to convert, I decided against it.
